The brief
To create a garden that connected the home, surrounding landscape and family life, blending contemporary living with the timeless character of a listed cottage.
The challenges
Balancing modern outdoor living with the character of a period property, while creating a series of connected spaces that felt both elegant and natural within the surrounding landscape.
The design
A sequence of beautifully connected garden rooms, layered with naturalistic planting, generous entertaining spaces and carefully chosen materials. Every element was designed to strengthen the relationship between the house, the landscape and the people who enjoy it.
The outcome
The result is a garden that evolves through the seasons, offering spaces to gather, relax and reconnect. Thoughtfully designed to complement its setting, it has become a seamless extension of the home and a place to enjoy everyday life outdoors.
