Creating the direction to shift a plain new-build space to a lush and vibrant garden, with different spaces to enjoy throughout the day, and a strong connection to wider landscape and nature. The design was inspired by the homeowners love of the wider SouthDowns environment, and their individual interests and hobbies; but we also wanted to make it playful, with plenty for their grandchildren to explore and enjoy 'mini-adventures' to their own willow den. A feature dining-space is surrounded by lush and vibrant planting, leading onto a secluded swing seat for reading in the afternoon sun, and out to a lawn and firepit lounge.
