Something for everyone (Sun and Shade lovers garden)

The proportions of this garden are wide and shallow, which meant it always felt small, and the only thing your eye was drawn to was the back fence!
Our clients wanted more space for entertaining and opportunities to make memories with their grandchildren, whilst also having the opportunity for some quiet 'me time'. Keen to take up some new hobbies, a greenhouse was key, as was providing some shade on hot afternoons.
The garden featured an incredible Acer, so we were keen to showcase this as part of the design.

Making use of the angles, we created several garden zones - nooks for quiet morning coffees, entertaining and growing. Lush layers of planting, taking influences from Texas and other places they've called home, creates different views and experiences from every angle. This garden genuinely feels like it is twice the size now, and is well-prepared for the future.
